Why are severely autistic, mentally disabled adults, with less rational thinking than children, being criminalized for their disabilities, put in prison, and their records of arrest not sealed as the criminal justice system does for underage teenagers who have a very clear understanding of the crimes that they commit!
At what point in time, in a so called "civilized" and fair society, did it become "normal" to define mental capacity/functionality on the basis of biological age?
